I grew up in rural Southern Maryland just outside the DMV Metropolitan Area. As a Boy Scout, I learned how to master the outdoors in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Inspired by these adventures, I gained an affinity for capturing the natural beauty around me as a photographer. 

 

However, not all of my time was spent outdoors. During the rise of social media in the 2010s, I developed a strong interest in emerging technologies and digital platforms. Throughout college and my early career, I learned how to utilize these new tools to create valuable audience experiences.

This transformative era of the internet revolutionized how I was able to engage with and understand diverse life experiences and cultures outside my own. Through various digital communities and unprecedented access to information, I could connect to people's stories from across the world. I broadened my understanding of our diverse world, and my appreciation of the human experience became deeper than ever before.

Today, I want to help my audience embrace nature the same way I did as a Boy Scout and do today in my home of western North Carolina. I want to help them experience their own bold adventures. I want them to come away from my podcast understanding more about their own journey in this world after taking a chance on learning about someone else's.
